Congratulations to our amazing young students at Wycherley for their outstanding achievements in the Singapore Math Challenge(SMC) and Singapore Math Global Finals(SMGF) competitions. 🏅🎉
The SMC is a paper-based competition with participation from over 70 countries worldwide and 83 students of Wycherley International School from grades 1 to 12 participated in the competition.
We are thrilled to announce that our students have brought home a remarkable haul of medals, including 08 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze medals! 🥇🥈🥉 along with 16 Honorable Mention awards, 15 of the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists went on to compete in the global finals, where they achieved phenomenal success.
In the global arena, our students secured an incredible 3 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medal, along with 4 honorable mentions! Their dedication, hard work, and mathematical prowess have truly shone on the international stage showcasing the excellence of Wycherley students worldwide.
We are especially proud to announce that Withanage Shewtha Manadara Wijeratne of Grade 1 clinched 2nd place in the global rankings, an amazing accomplishment that reflects his exceptional talent and hard work.!
