Message from the Principal as we commence the Second Term!

Dear Parents, Guardians and my dear Children,

Wish you all a very happy New Year and may you all be blessed abundantly with good health and contentment.

I hope that each of you have had a wonderful break and is geared to face the new year. This year has thrown us another curveball. By now, we are all getting accustomed to going with the flow of change and uncertainty. The children have continued to impress us with their focus on learning and have shown our school values of respect, honesty, aspiration, determination and teamwork in all that they have done.

I would like to thank our parents for their continued support in settling all fees due and for being concerned about the wellbeing of our school and staff.

Today there is a debate as to whether we should have online school or onsite school. Whilst there are pros and cons for both, the vote will always be a split one. As a school we will always follow the government guidelines and also make sure we do what is best and right by our children.

As such, I kindly request all parents to understand this and support my staff in making sure we give the best to our children.

We have commenced some Extracurricular activities and I urge you to encourage your child to actively participate in them. Also the four main religious societies would be organizing events on a regular basis, and I highly recommend your child to participate, as these events will help them in times of uncertainty.

Looking forward to a year with better and brighter times.

Thank you

Dayan D. L. Fernando
